Kedarnath, where 100s of pilgrims arrive from all states of India, the path earnings at first along the sacred Bhagirathi river, then through dense forests and grassy areas as far as Lata. From there it is a 5-hour drive to Gangotri, where the 2nd part of the trek starts. Near Gaumukh, close to the Source of the Ganges, you will experience the strange sight of half-naked saddhus in the lotus position, meditating on the bank of the bubbling stream pouring out the glacier. Further up, Tapovan is a grassy area with numerous brooks, bounded by snowy peaks. It is a round-trip itinerary starting in Kedarnath, along the sacred Baghirathi river. Kedar Tal climb from where you feel that there is little else left to be see. It is as if you are a part of this royal setting of snow peaks. The path then descends to Arwatal and to Mana the last village on the Chinese frontier. The trek fittingly ends at Badrinath with a visit to the holy temple.
Day 01: Rishikesh
Arrive Rishikesh. Meet our representative and transfer to the hotel/camp. Evening free to explore the area. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel/camp.
Day 02: Rishikesh-Uttarkashi ( 155 kms/4-5 hrs)
After an early breakfast drive to Uttarkashi At an elevation of 1158 meters on the bank of river Bhagirathi, Uttarkashi is an important pilgrimage center equated with Varanasi or Kashi in Divinity. Temple of Lord Vishwnath is located here along with other important temple like Ekadash Rudra, Bhairav,etc. Every Year on the occassion of Mahamela people visit Uttarkashi to take a Holy dip in Bhagirathi along with the idol of their local deities. Upon arrival at Uttarkashi check in to Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 03: Uttarkashi - Lata Drive( 22 kms/ Half hrs) Lata - Balak Trek (15 kms)
After an early breakfast drive to Lata.and trek to Belak with Packed lunch. Dinner and overnight stay in Camps.
Day 04: Belak - Budhakedar Trek (14 kms)
In the morning after breakfast we will trek to Budhakedar. The route is full of thrill. Dinner and overnight in Camps.
Day 05: Budhakedar - Ghuttu Trek (14 kms)
In the morning after breakfast trek to Ghuttu. Enroute we will find lush green meadows, water falls, snow clapped mountains and much more. Dinner and overnight stay in Camps.
Day 06: Ghuttu - Panwali kantha Trek (18 kms)
Morning after breakfast we start for Panwali. The trek today is very steep. About nine kilometers of steep ascent takes us to Panwali. Preety and Peaceful, the Panwali Bugyals lie at Far flung heights, ranging from 2745 meters to 3970 meters. They are open Grasslands and undulating slopes studded with patches of Forests. With the advent of Summer, the snows melts away and the Flower and Herbs blossom forth to carpet the Bugyals in a riot of color Arrive and camp in the meadow near a stream, as the entire meadow is full of crystal clear springs. Dinner and overnight stay in Camps.
Day 07: Panwali kantha - Sonprayag Trek (24 kms)
In the morning after breakfast trek to Sonprayag.The entire trek is on rocky terrain and is strenuous.At Sonprayag, Mandakni river from Kedarnath and Vasuki Ganga, a tributary river from Vasuki Lake meets, the secene of the two rivers in the exquisite mountain setting is charming. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 08: Sonpratag - Gaurikund Drive (5 kms)- Kedarnath Trek (14 kms)
Drive to Gaurikund we visit the Gaurikund temple and the hot springs.After words we proceed for Kedarnath with packed lunch. The entire trek is gradual ascent -The temple is magnificiant in its style and architecture and to construct such a temple at this height over one thousand years ago must have been quite a feat. It is the abode of Lord Shiva and one of the famous Jyotirlinga Arrive Kedarnath.Dinner and overnight stay in Camp or hotel.
Day 09: Kedarnath Trek ( 14 kms ) - Guptkashi (35 kms/1 hrs)
After breakfast Trek to Gaurikund with packed lunch- drive to Guptkashi-Guptkashi which is important place on the route of Sri Kedarnath and Madhmehashwar, is richly rewarding area of color, imiginary secenary,and incredible landscape. Chaukhamba and other mountains peaks seem are so near but infacts are yet so far.Lord Shiva dip inside the ground at Gupkashi. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 10: Guptkashi - Rishikesh ( 191 kms/6-7 hrs)
After an early breakfast drive to Rishikesh.Dinner and overnight stay in hotel/camp.
Day 11: Rishikesh
After an early breakfast drive to Delhi. OR Start Rafting trip OR Local Sight Seeing and Temples.,lunch, Tour Terminate. End of the Services.
